Brockford Camping | Camp Site | Suffolk

Brockford Camping is a quiet rural camp site in Suffolk

Brockford Camping is open from April until October. It's the perfect location for exploring Suffolk and East Anglia, from Framlingham Castle to the Suffolk coast. The site is surrounded by quiet roads which are ideal for cycling and walking.

The camp site is easily accessed from A140. To avoid the sharp turn into site, which is marked 'Brockford Sidings' take the Town Lane turning off A140 and then turn left into Station Road and left again at the War Memorial, just beyond the Wetheringsett Parish sign. The entrance is the first turning on right from the War Memorial, marked Brockford Siding and with railway gate. The camp site is accessed through the Brockford Sidings gate, go straight on and into camping field.

This is a dog-friendly site that's very close to a good number of cosy country pubs. The nearest are about a mile away, but the site owners recommend bringing a bicycle for the full Suffolk pub crawl experience.

The Mid Suffolk Light Railway museum and award winning steam railway is across the road from the camp site (3-5 min walk) – Suffolk’s only standard gauge heritage railway. Open weekends and bank holidays throughout the Summer and over the Christmas period. Steaming most weekends. Many exhibitions and events. Café, souvenir shop and on selected weekends a bar carriage which specialises in local beer and cider.
